The Rossmax SA310 Hand-Held Pulse Oximeter is an excellent piece of medical equipment, particularly for use with vulnerable patients who require constant monitoring. This is because every 10, 30, or 60 seconds, a measurement is collected and saved on the device, with a maximum of 999 readings to be remembered. There are also pulse and percent SpO2 thresholds that may be set, so that if a rate surpasses those values, an alarm will ring to alert nearby carers and nurses.
The pulse and percent SpO2 rates, as well as a pulse strength indicator, are prominently displayed on the color-display screen. Because the oximeter is biocompatible and non-allergenic, it can be used on almost anyone. It includes a carrying case and a protective pouch, as well as batteries and an AC adaptor.
4 AA non-rechargeable batteries, an AC adaptor for mains operation, a standard 90cm adult probe, an oximeter protection sleeve, and a storage bag for the entire kit are included.
