The A1C EZ 2.0 is a small, simple gadget that measures HbA1c levels during the previous two months.
What exactly is HbA1c?
HbA1c stands for glucated haemoglobin, which is formed when haemoglobin and glucose combine. HbA1c levels can provide insight into a patient's average glucose levels during the previous few months.
Its key functions include monitoring diabetics to ensure that they are properly managing their diabetes, diagnosing type 1 and type 2 diabetes, and detecting prediabetes. It is easy to store and move due to its compact design, as well as the fact that it is battery operated and only needs to be kept at room temperature.
The built-in audio prompt guides you through each step, making it simple to operate. To obtain results, only a little sample of 3L is required. It has a 5-minute response time and can store up to 1000 results.
